LIVEBLOG: Flight to Boston!
Hey everybody...I'm on my flight to Boston right now...Heading there for my college reunion. And I'm flying on Virgin America. It's my first time doing Virgin (insert joke here) and I'm quite enjoying it...
Best part...Wi-Fi access! Not the fastest, but quite adequate to keep me busy during the flight...which ends in less than three hours.
By chance, my friend Tom Lowe is on the same flight to Boston and we were able to get seats next to each other:

This is us waiting in the food court before we hopped on the plane.
So, I'm pretty impressed by this. I was able to finish up the "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!" (so addicted to the show!) episode that I didn't get to complete by logging onto NBC's site. Oh, celebs...PLEASE let Heidi and Spencer back in!!!
Tom has been fiddling around with this Anagramarama game on the in-flight TV set and we're calling shenanigans...It hasn't been accepting words like "reek" or "vain."

Unacceptable according to Anagramarama...BOO!
What kind of English dictionary do you use, Richard Branson?!?
I'm getting a little hungry here as it's pretty much lunch time (west-coast wise)...saw this on the menu:

Hmmm...should I get?
1:30 PM...I got...I ordered the chips, a steak sandwich, a chunky carob bar, and ginger ale for my lunch...review to come shortly!
1:55 PM...Lunch has been served and consumed...Here's the verdict...

The steak sandwich was a cold sandwich with steak pieces (a little wider but as thick as pieces you'd get on a fajita). It was accented with some red peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and sprouts all on a pesto-basil spreaded cibatta bun. And for a cold deli sandwich, it wasn't too bad. Above average...it's on the better side of airline food.
Complimented the sandwich with a bag of Hippie Chips (potato crisps with "Haight-Ashbury Jalapeno flavor")...flavorful but not too spicy and not too heavy either.
Washed it down with some Seagram's ginger ale and capped it off with Sweetriot dark chocolate (with crunch cacao pieces). It's like a slightly healthier Chunky bar.
I'd say the meal gets a solid B. Nothing spectacular but enough to satiate the appetite and hold me over until we land...
2:00 PM - Currently above the state of Iowa...

2:01 PM...More words considered unacceptable by Anagramarama...TUSK and TRAM...oy...
3:00 PM...Flight's been uneventful so far. Given up on watching TV through the in-seat sets. The reception keeps going out, but based on what I was able to see, it looks like I wasn't missing much. Been taking advantage of the inseat power outlet for my computer and taking the time to take care of some work so I don't get too behind by the time I come back to L.A.

Also, caught up on some entertainment during the flight...
"Land of the Lost's" Wesley Eure is gay?? - I kinda had a feeling he was when I would watch him on the show "Finders Keepers..."
Kill Bill's Bill Killed? - Gotta give my friend Ted credit for that one...
Whitney's got a new album set for September - Oh, how I was she was still together with Bobby and "Being Bobby Brown" was still on...KISS MY ASS!
3:30 PM - Just over New York...We're getting closer and closer to Boston! This flight is going pretty quickly...

3:40 PM - The descent has started...this might be my last blog before touching down...
