LIVEBLOG: Flight to L.A.!
So, I'm on my way back to Los Angeles after a wonderful four-day trip to Boston and Cambridge...It was such a great reunion. Re-connected with some great friends, made a bunch of new ones, had lots of good food...more details to come in a later blog...
But for now, thanks to some in-flight internet, here's the liveblog for the flight back home...
4:37 PM (Pacific) - All checked-in and waiting in the terminal at Logan...

6:30 PM - Now watching the inflight TV...Since there's no CBS feed on the flight, I'll have to get my Tonys fix by watching the finale of "Any Dream Will Do" on BBC America...Ok...yes, it's a bit gay, but given what else is available, this is the best I can do...I ain't paying 8 bucks for a movie...
6:35 PM - It looks like the eliminated Josephs are in pastel T-shirts singing "The Boys Are Back in Town." Lawdy...
6:41 PM - The final two Josephs (both of which are mildly cute) are now duetting by singing "Jesus Christ Superstar." They should just make out on stage...Not quite Adam Lambert and Kris Allen singing "We Are the Champions" together, but again...it's the best I can do...
6:44 PM - Ooh...one of the Josephs sang Queen's "One Vision"...
6:45 PM - Some of these Josephs were cute...I should have watched this show more often...A group sing of "Under Pressure?!?"
6:54 PM - Aww...the dainty Joseph didn't win....Paul Starsky-permed Joseph took home the crown.
6:55 PM - The "People's Joseph?" Really now...
6:57 PM - Now watching Lee, the "People's Joseph," sing "Any Dream Will Do." Getting flashbacks to my high school chorus's Andrew Lloyd Weber medley...
7:01 PM - Oh my...BBC America is now playing "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" I wonder if I should pay $8 for a movie now...
7:01 PM - OK...the opening sequence of Marias fighting with each other is kinda amazing...fighting musical nuns, woohoo!
7:04 PM - John Barrowman...one of the hottest reality judges...ever...
7:45 PM - OK..."How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" isn't clicking with me...time to look for something else to watch...
7:47 PM - Over to Comedy Central...OOH, Gary Busey...eww, Larry the Cable Guy...next...
7:48 PM - Here we go...ANTM reruns on Oxygen...FIERCE!
7:50 PM - And Tori and Dean next! YES!
7:52 PM - I'm Facebooking, Twittering, watching Oxygen, doing some catch-up work, and IMing my friend A.J. (who happens to be a few rows behind me)...all on this plane...Too much technology...I LOVE IT!
7:58 PM - Just did the my first video iChat every from a plane seat. :-)

Video chatting with Nick

Currently over Illinois...
8:12 PM - Eeek...Bumpiness!
8:27 PM - Nothing like watching Tori Spelling's dog have diarrhea all over the floor while flying tens of thousands of feet over the country...
8:38 PM - More turbulence...we're apparenlty flying near a thunderstorm...
8:46 PM - Flying over Kansas...and all I see is dust in the in the wind...
9:00 PM - Aww, yeah...Classic "American Gladiators" reruns on the in-flight TV...
9:02 PM - NO ZAP! She's injured?!? BOO! To quote Todd Christensen (he's no Larry Csonka, BTW): "We may think our gladiators our invincible, but they're made of flesh and blood..." Truer words ahve never been spoken...
9:04 PM - I totally forgot that they had a setup for two simultaneous Human Cannonballs after the first season...
9:07 PM - I needs to get my hands on a copy of the original "American Gladiators" theme...one of the best from the 90s...
9:10 PM - I will say this about Todd Christensen...he never had a lack of enthusiasm...
9:11 PM - Boy, that Season 1 eliminator was really janky-looking...
9:12 PM - OK...we get it...you have to be "compact" to do well at the Human Cannonball...
9:13 PM - These jackets that Todd Christensen and Mike Adamle are wearing look pretty ridiculous...it's like they just got back in from a morning jog...
9:18 PM - Powerball time...Just heard Mike Adamle use the term "rimmed out..." I chuckle like a little boy...
9:23 PM - The 2.0 version of Assault reminds me of Tetris...with weapons...
9:31 PM - I never knew that Titan was the "Ayatollah of Smackola"...I wonder who was the "Qaddhafi of the Boff-y"....
9:44 PM - The ESPN Classic feed is going in and out...on to some Youtubing...
Pitfall!
The centerpiece of the show...The Pitfall Round
